Hi, I’m Bill Rice.
Thanks for visiting my simple Christian blog. Back in 2008, I felt a calling to register the domain name HISanswers.com. The inspiration was simple:
The Internet is full of answers to life. Unfortunately, many of them are wrong. They can stray people from the Truth. Often, their unintended consequences, lead to broken spirits and lives.
I’m not here to tell you I can fix that simple fact. There are millions of pieces of content published on the Internet every day. However, I can humbly fill my small role in obeying Jesus’ command to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20).
That’s my mission here, but like most Christians I have many limitations. Let me be clear what I am and what I am not.
What I Am
- A Regular Sinner
- Very Often Imperfect
- An Occasional Doubter
- Often Afraid and Weak
- A Seeker of Truth
- A Believer!
What I Am Not
- A Trained Theologian
- A Christian Counselor
- Full of Definitive Answers
Ironically, these things were my MAJOR hang-ups to starting this website. Remember I registered this domain in 2008, but I didn’t create this website until 2011.
What was going on?
I’ll tell you. I wasted a lot of time trying to convince trained religious leaders this was a good idea. Trying to recruit a leader to give this outreach authority and credibility. A trained mind, voice, and pen to give God approved answers to life’s questions.
This is my first lesson, my first answer:
God is Almighty! If He calls you. Do what He says. Don’t look for someone else. He always uses imperfect, inappropriate people.
What a waste of time.
Now it’s time to proceed. Here’s what you can expect–a Journey, my Journey. It won’t be perfect and for that reason I will never tell you I am giving you the answer. However, you will be exposed to His Word and that WILL give your ALL the answers you ever need.
