Bible Reading Habits - Study Resources

  • I’m confused as to what this mentioned word, place, or thing is?
  • Do I need to buy a commentary, study notes, or concordance?

Here are my quick thoughts on the topic:

The Cross: What Does it Mean?

This is the most important question that needs to be answered. Even many Christians do not understand the significance of the Cross! Good Christian Fun—Is Having Fun Over When I Become a Christian?

Before I became a Christian it seemed to me that everything fun in life was a “no-no” in the Bible. I liked to party and Jesus seemed to be  “anti-party.” What I discovered, however, is the Bible actually encourages us to enjoy life. So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for [...]

What is Pleasing to God?

I’ve been spending the last few weeks reading through the Old Testament. I think there is no clearer place to find the answer to the question: What is pleasing to God? He lays out pretty clearly what He expects from His people in Deuteronomy 10:12-13. Fear Him Obey Him Love Him Serve Him The New [...]
